Things that make it difficult to work on papers:

Tags: , , ,
Constant emails popping up letting me know that new fics have been posted at metamorfic_moon

rt_challenge posting the prompts for the January ficathon. Go kileaiya for your suggestion, by the way.

Three little white fluff balls deciding that my bed, with my books, notes, laptop, etc. spread all over it, is the perfect spot for a free-for-all game of tag/general puppy scuffle.

Said puppies deciding that all wrestling match breaks should be spent walking on/laying on my lap or laptop begging for tummy rubs.

My mother baking snickerdoodles and father making fudge (also makes it difficult to stick to diets).

I feel it is important to add: I'm not complaining about any of this despite a relatively unproductive day :-)
Feeling: bemused
Exploring: Bed at parents' house
Listening: Christmas Carols

I'm loving all the ficcy goodness I have to read! Yay.

Is it off that I am way excited they chose to use it? I thought the quote fit Remus/Tonks well. :)

Joyeux Noel! :D

Not at all odd. You should be excited. It is a great R/T quote.

Merry Christmas.

Those little white balls of fluff sound gorgeous. I don't know how you're getting anything done at all.

I haven't read your Meta fic yet, but I will get there...

And I've got to ask - what are snickerdoodles? They sound wonderful!

The puppies certainly are making it difficult to work. They're so cute and I miss them so much when I'm not home so I just want to play with thema nd cuddle them. Oh well.

Take you time on the fic. This is certainly a busy time of year for everyone.

Snickerdoodles are the greatest cookies on the face of the Earth. The batter is almost a sugar cookie, but not quite. You roll the dough into balls, roll the balls in cinnamon-sugar so they are completely covered, and then bake them. They are wonderful! Unfortunately, any time I've ever bought snickerdoodles, they've been no where near as good as my mom's. You have to bake them yourself to get the full joy! Not to mention you get to eat the raw dough that way.
