To Do

Things that HAVE to be done between today and tomorrow (crossed out means done):
*Write Allegro's 20 page historiography of Leisler's Rebellion
*Gather books for Scott's (15 pg?) paper
*Clean Apartment
*Christmas Cards

Things I WANT to have done between today and tomorrow:
*Research Scott's (15 pg?) paper
*Write Scott's (15 pg?) paper

Things not on my list that I did anyway, wasting a half-hour I could have spent working:
*Lock apartment and office keys in office
*Drive to police station to get cop to unlock my office door
*Drive back to Blair to meet cop and retrieve keys. Go me.

I'm making progress. What do we think are the odds I can have all this done by 8:00 Tuesday morning (including time to eat, sleep, and bathe would be nice)?

EDIT: I forgot one thing I did today that needed to be done:
Fill out maintenance request for leaking bathroom sink
Feeling: embarrassed
Exploring: Couch
Listening: Christmas Carols - Carol of the Bells

You poor thing, having adventures you don't have time for. Good luck, hon.

I am such a scatter brain! That is why I have to be anal. And when I get stressed and run out of time to be anally organized, I lose everything. This time last year I lost my keys completely. I think they fell out of my pocket when I was walking back to my apartment to grab some dinner before going back to my office to finish a paper. It sucked. At least this time they weren't lost!

It's all good. And I suspect you guys are seriously getting tired of listening to me whine about my papers.

You whine with a lot of flair. So it's amusing to listen to. And creates a lot of pathos. ;)

I did that spoof Mayer-Briggs personality quiz that is floating around and then looked up a real summary of my result and it was so totally me. Including this little gem:

ENTPs are basically optimists, but in spite of this (perhaps because of it?), they tend to become extremely petulant about small setbacks and inconveniences.

Yeah. Bubbly and bouncing with a tendency to become a petulant twit. That would be me.

Get off Live Journal Rachael! I think I have officially become your LJ mum. Now off to work on papers with you!
