Photo Manip Software

Tags: ,
This lovely little blog is proving very useful. I mentioned its existence to my parents even though they generally know my news before or soon after I post it here. They read it and read about my desire for some better graphic software than the basic paint program that comes with MS Windows/Office. They are out shopping right now and found Paint Shop Pro X which has an MSRP of $99.99 on sale for $69.99 with two $30 rebates bringing the final price to $9.99. They are buying it for me and mailing it to me. I am moving up in the world of graphic software! I have heard good things about Paint Shop Pro so I am excited.

Greetings from Kyoto! I'll be heading back to Korea tomorrow and it is there I shall remain for the remaining two months of my tour. But I'm not complaining. China, Australia and now Japan visited over a year, and not including my side trips across Korea? Quite a productive year, no?
Enjoy MD, I'll be home in the States soon!

You have had an awsome travel year. What are you going to be doing when you get back to the states? Is a trip to Virginia (hint hint) a possibility?

Unfortunately this has yet to be determined. For reasons beyond my comprehension, UT Austin turned down my application to their master's program, so that went nowhere and here I am facing the prospect of September coming along and me out of work (I trust you saw in an e-mail that the AF axed a good size number of officers and that I was one of those) without a master's program willing to "adopt" me. So what will I do therefore when I get back to the States? That is in flux at the moment...
Will I visit VA? I should; my sis is relatively close by in SC after all. But when? Can't tell you right now, I'm afraid, as life is up in the air at the moment.
(Oh yeah, I am back in Korea, 48 miles south of The Bad Guys, once again. More bragging about Japan later...)
