Magic in my history book

Tags: , ,
I'm reading a book on American religious history. It references the case of a man accused of witchcraft in Quaker Pennsylvania. Part of the evidence used against him was his possession of "Cornelias Agrippas Teaching negromancy" (original spelling and capitalization preserved). This is, of course, the same Agrippa featured on this Chocolate Frog card, one of the only ones Ron was missing to complete his collection as of the first book.

I love it when my little Muggle world intersects with the Harry Potter magical world. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I thought so.

And apparently whatever bug I had has been fixed because I already received the email notice about your comment.

I just love little things like that to pull me out of my HW when it starts really bogging me down. Makes me want to wake back up and pay more attention to see if I can spot any other references.

We might have crossed some invisible fandom line when we began to refer to real life history as referencing Harry Potter instead of Harry Potter referencing real life history. I think we should be proud. :)
