Silly Professors and LJ Colors

Tags: , ,
Since I am taking an undergraduate course for graduate credit, I have to do a paper that on one else is doing. No biggie, but the professor and I never worked out the details on when it was due, etc. Yesterday I asked him what was the absolute latest date I could get it to him with him being as generous as possible. He asked if I could have it in by the day the undergrads take their final (Dec. 12). Since when is less than a week being generous? I basically said there was no way and he said grades are due right after the new year so whenever between now and then. That is oh so much better.

After I finished my HW for the day yesterday (at about 1:30-2:00 am), I needed something to unwind before I could go to bed. I played with my LJ for about 20 minutes and ended up changing my colors somewhat. Why yet again you might ask. Simple; I've now got snowflakes and the darker blues and greys just didn't work with the snowflakes. Yay for snowflakes!

Oh, I have my TA class today, which is when I usually tune out the professor and work on fics. Hopefully progress will be made on outlining/scripting the metamorfic_moon story.
Feeling: Wintry

Ooh! Pretty snowflakes!

Good luck with your fic. =)

Thanks. I'm now looking for a fun background for when I switch away from my little winter holidays theme. Bu that shouldn't be until sometime in January so finding good images is pretty far down on the priority list.

Unfortunately, the prof. had me standing at the podium today playing with the computer, so not much ficcage accomplished during class. Looks more and more like it'll be written on legal pads on the plane home for Christmas (and while stuck in Atlanta overnight knowing my luck) ;-)

I just realized how long ago you posted this. I still haven't received a notification to my LJ message center or my email. Is LJ having FF.Net-type difficulties or is it just me?

You do seem to have bad luck with getting stuck overnight. =P

I think it may just be you, because I have been getting my notifications. Odd.

I just now got the one for your first comment. I wonder why mine is so slow? And it's not like it is a problem with my email because it's not popping up in my LJ notices either.

That is really weird. I have no clue why it could be doing that. Hmm.

Yeah. I've checked all my settings and they seem correct. I've still only received a notification for your first post. Very odd indeed.

I guess I'll just ignore it and hopefully it will correct itself soon.
