Random Holmesiana (Comic and Museum Exhibit)

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal is an online comic that I love. It is completely random but generally fun stuff. Today's comic is oh so wrong and yet oh so fantastic. Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Moribund... well, you'll have to see the comic for yourself for the rest.

In related news, there is an international museum exhibit on Sherlock Holmes that will first open in late October and will run in various locales through 2019. I can find its first US stop (nowhere near me) and information that it will tour 10 US cities, but nothing else on what cities. I so want it to come near me! The exhibit developer's website to try to convince museums to book the exhibit has a couple of PDFs with more information. The one on the exhibit itself is just interesting but the one on the strength of Sherlock Holmes as a marketing brand is kind of hilarious.

Wow, trying to find out information on that exhibit is next to impossible. You'd think they'd mention the various cities it would be visiting!

It really is! I've done so much poking around and can only find hype with no substance. I'm already hyped! Give me data! I know they don't know where all it will be going through 2019, but if they can tell me "10 North American cities" they should at least be able to tell me those 10.

HA, found the second stop at least

We are excited to announce that The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes will travel to COSI Columbus' Dynamic Hands-On Science Center! after premiering at Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI)!

Second stop is progress. Still not near me. Oh well. There's at least 8 more chances, I suppose.
