According to Neil Gaiman, the BBC Radio Dramatization of his Neverwhere will be for sale in September. Hooray! I mean, I have the entire thing already thanks to Radio Downloader (which was still working then), but I do like being able to give my money in support of projects I very much enjoy. I look at it as showering my love (and, you know, food, housing, and all the other necessities of life for which one needs money in our largely capitalist world) on those who make things I enjoy and as encouraging the powers that be to make more of those kinds of things that I will also hopefully enjoy.

I absolutely adore Neverwhere, book and television series, so I did wonder what I would think of the radio adaptation despite the excellent cast. Well it simply proved once again that the pictures are better on the radio - and the budget is bigger too! It was fabulous.

Neverwhere will never be my favorite of Gaiman's works, but I enjoy it OK and the radio was the best version of it thus far IMO. It really was an amazing production.
