30 Days of Fictional Females Meme - Day Seventeen: Favourite warrior female character

Tags:
Got behind a day. Oops. I'll do two at some point, but not today because this one deserves to stand on her own.

Day Seventeen: Favourite warrior female character
This is in some ways a total cheat answer, but I'm going to stick with it: Alison Green, the lead of the webcomic Strong Female Protagonist. Alison is a super hero who has the super power of super strength and near invincibility. She is part of a super hero team, fighting super villains. Everything is exactly what it is supposed to be for a superhero comic book and a warrior hero. But Allison realizes that that isn't enough, that her beating up super powered bad guys does nothing to solve poverty, war, racism, sexism, etc. She begins to question everything about her existence due to a conversation with a super villain and then blows up in a TV interview, which is a good page to get the idea of who she is. The reporter asks her about what she'd do in a super-powered war with China and this is the result. In the next page she reveals her secret identity and walks away from crime fighting because she doesn't have a clue what she's doing and is tired of playing games. Most of the strip is about her trying to figure out how to live a normal life while everyone knows her as the super hero who walked away, but there is an ongoing menacing plot of "What's really going on here and is the government really controlling the super heroes and if so why?" kind of stuff. I absolutely love this webcomic and follow it regularly.
