Sherlock (BBC) Series 3 is Go
Mark Gatiss on twitter this morning:
#Sherlock read-through. It begins!

Of course, since they said weeks ago that filming would start in March, and since Martin Freeman said a couple of days ago that he would be on the Sherlock set the week after next, and since Gatiss tweeted a picture of the exterior Baker Street set with the caption "Heavens to Betsy, is someone moving back in? #Sherlock" a few days ago, this is hardly surprising. Still. I think the table read through makes it real.
Or maybe I'm just trying to find something about which I can be excited and happy at the moment as I'm still a bit out of sorts after Thursday and Friday, though the weekend was actually pretty good, and and my throat has been scratchy and I've been coughing a lot the past few days, making me suspect my several months of spring hay fever misery are starting, and yesterday was the start of Daylight Savings Time so this morning by getting up at the same clock time as usual I actually got up an hour earlier than usual for both my body and the amount of light outside, consequently I'm seriously dragging this morning. Also, my milk was expired this morning, something I didn't discover until after I'd poured some in to my mug of tea and taken my first sip, despite being two days before the supposed expiration date given on the carton. OK. Back to being excited about Sherlock and no more grumbling from me.
