Sherlock (BBC) Series 3 is Go

Mark Gatiss on twitter this morning:
#Sherlock read-through. It begins!

Of course, since they said weeks ago that filming would start in March, and since Martin Freeman said a couple of days ago that he would be on the Sherlock set the week after next, and since Gatiss tweeted a picture of the exterior Baker Street set with the caption "Heavens to Betsy, is someone moving back in? #Sherlock" a few days ago, this is hardly surprising. Still. I think the table read through makes it real.

Or maybe I'm just trying to find something about which I can be excited and happy at the moment as I'm still a bit out of sorts after Thursday and Friday, though the weekend was actually pretty good, and and my throat has been scratchy and I've been coughing a lot the past few days, making me suspect my several months of spring hay fever misery are starting, and yesterday was the start of Daylight Savings Time so this morning by getting up at the same clock time as usual I actually got up an hour earlier than usual for both my body and the amount of light outside, consequently I'm seriously dragging this morning. Also, my milk was expired this morning, something I didn't discover until after I'd poured some in to my mug of tea and taken my first sip, despite being two days before the supposed expiration date given on the carton. OK. Back to being excited about Sherlock and no more grumbling from me.

Yes, it kinda makes it real now and that's wonderful. Always tell yourself it's not that long anymore until we'll get to see the new episodes.:)

Other than that: *hugs*

Hooray for not that long until new episodes. I'll take anything at the moment and that is definitely something!

Also, BBC posted this picture from the read through which is completely ridiculous and made me smile. I needed a ridiculous smile.

XD God, they're both so wonderfully crazy and adorkable. *g*

I love how adorkable they both look in this pic! :)
I bet they're having a wonderful time together, coming back to playing Sherlock and John after such a long time. Benedict and Martin are both Hollywood superstars now, but are still wonderfully silly and adorable around each other, like good old friends.

Hope you're feeling a bit better today. I have allergies and hay fever too, so I understand your woes. Moreover, I live in the countryside, so I inhale loads and loads of pollens every day and have to resort to medication quite often in the spring/summer months. I also have 6 cats, whose hair I'm allergic to, so my life's a misery most of the time, unless I lock myself up in a room that has air-conditioning with pollen filters and such. :(

I'm on three prescriptions (one pill and two nasal sprays) for my hay fever and that helps so that it isn't as bad as it would be otherwise, but it does not solve the problem. I did allergy testing with a specialist once and his verdict was that I was allergic to everything for which he could possibly test and while some of my reactions were moderate to severe, some were technically so severe as to be off the chart. I don't know how you live with 6 cats. I'm terribly allergic to cats. If I spend one night in a house with one, I'll be sneezing and coughing for days after. If I try to spend more than one day, I will have a constant headache to go with the sneezing and coughing. I do better with dogs but some breeds/dogs will get to me almost as badly as do cats.

YAY for filming having started on Sherlock! \o/ (And for that silly and hilarious picture. ^^)

I feel sorry that your life isn't going well at the moment. :-( Can I offer you some nice tea as well? I hope it'll get better again soon. *hugs*

Tea is always welcome. I promise I'll stop whining soon.
