Neverwhere update

Tags: ,
The official BBC Neverwhere page is up with clips, interviews, character bios, photos, etc. Hooray! Lots of good stuff!

This means for those using Radio Downloader you should be able to subscribe now so you don't have to worry about forgetting (as if I'd let you!). If you click "N" in RD it probably won't just be there because it defaults to "Now and Next" and we're still too far out for it to be on the schedule. It will probably be there Friday or Saturday this week. Instead, to find Neverwhere now, after you click "N" you should be able to switch from "Now and Next" to "All Programmes" and it should be there. I'm on my work laptop and only have RD on my home laptop so I can't check for sure right now but all the clues on the BBC site that normally mean it will be in RD are now there.

EDIT: I've listened to all the clips and interviews now (because clearly my dissertation is overrated today) and I love all Gaiman's stuff but listening to James McAvoy describe himself as a huge Gaiman fan and rattle off some of what he's read (Sandman, Neverwhere, Good Omens, American Gods) is definitely my favorite!

EDIT 2: For anyone thinking of trying to listen to it live, the times for all broadcasts are available even though only the first episode is showing on the official site. The first hour-long episode will be Saturday 16 March at 2:30pm (London time, obviously) and the other five half-hour episodes will follow on Monday to Friday, all at 6:00pm.
Feeling: excited
Exploring: Office at the Library so should be working not playing
Listening: American Breed - Bend Me, Shape Me

Oh, this is exciting news!! Can't wait to listen to it! :-)

I'm only wondering why it's time for Neverwhere already... Where has February gone again?

I'm totally with you on where did February go! I still think it should be mid January.

Thanks for the information! I really appreciate your advice regarding the Radio Downloader program and your updates and reviews on what BBC radio is playing and is going to play. It's a wonderful resource for me! I only wish US radio was half as cool as BBC radio.

Thanks for letting me know you're enjoying this and find it helpful! That makes me happy. :)

I, too, wish US radio had anything anywhere near this good, but at least the BBC iPlayer Radio is free to the world and not region locked like the iPlayer TV stuff is so no proxies or other shady means necessary to enjoy the goodness.
