Anglo Men of 2012

BBC America is having a bracket-based vote on the best English guy, or some such. In Round One, Neil Gaiman was up against Stephen Fry. Gaiman posted that he was quite happy that he was going to lose soundly, but according to the viewable data Gaiman and Fry tied. According to the behind the scenes data, Gaiman won by one vote and has been moved on to Round Two. Where he is against Alan Rickman. Gaiman's response to this is fantastic:

Oh, dear God.

I was relieved when Stephen Fry and I drew with 50% of the Anglophenia vote each. There, I thought. That’s the way to do it. Honour is satisfied, and I do not have to apologise to anyone, or worry or ever think about this thing again.

I think people in BBC America are having too much fun with this contest.

One vote?
