Today I...

I read that "fixed a student's broken nose with two binder clips" and thought you probably ought to feel like something other than MacGyver.

It is uber awesome. I read a book with both the kindergarten and first grade classes that includes a character (Little Bear) pretending to go to the moon. After we read the story, they draw space helmets, I tape paper bands to the helmets to make hats, and they put on their helmets and we act out the story and go to the moon. It is so much fun and so silly. And then I remember I get paid to do this and it gets even better!

That is so awesome! I love kids books, especially if they illustrations are awesome. Like that book you had last summer (or the summer before?) about a king and bathtub. The illustrations were awesome. I really like The Napping House because of the pretty pictures.

I love King Bidgood's In The Bathtub and its amazing pictures. We're still using it this year. I really need to get my own copy of it sometime.
