A Week in the Life of bratty_jedi, Volume 7

Tags: , ,
Day seven of my week in photos. Not sure what's going on? Check out Day 1 with the explanation here.

8:45 Goofing off: Playing with LJ code to tweak the links on my layout.

9:35 Busch Gardens Europe: About to head out for some fun, but it rained last night. Go back inside for a towel or live with a wet butt?

10:00-12:00 Busch Gardens Europe: England

10:00-12:00 Busch Gardens Europe: Ireland

10:00-12:00 Busch Gardens Europe: New France (a.k.a. they wanted a Wild West area but weren't sure how to force it into a European themed park)

10:00-12:00 Busch Gardens Europe: Germany

10:00-12:00 Busch Gardens Europe: In the Alps at one of my favorite rides...

10:00-12:00 Busch Gardens Europe: ... except when it breaks down and I get stuck on it for 10 minutes.

10:00-12:00 Busch Gardens Europe: Italy (as seen from on a ride)

12:15 Busch Gardens Europe: time to grab the gear and head home.

2:00 Groceries

2:45 Mess!: I didn't empty my water bag after teaching yesterday and when I opened it today (of course after I went to the store), I was dismayed to find that my ice pack had sprung a leak.

3:30 Laundry

5:30 Reading: To those of you who might be getting sick of Indy on my LJ, my apologies. I am an obsessive fangirl and can't help it!

8:30 Dishes: I just washed a sink full before dinner and now I've got to do more!

I have more Busch Gardens pics if anyone is interested. It is consistently voted one of the most beautiful theme parks in America and not just for the fake European feel I decided to highlight here.

What's Taters, Precious?

So Busch Gardens ripped off Epcot? Niice.

Looks like you had a fun day! I wish I could have come! Except rollercoasters really mess me up lately. I'm getting old.

I wouldn't call it ripping off Epcot. They're both themed around various countries, but that is where the similarities end and that seems to me to be a fairly easy concept to think of.

The Busch Gardens in Georgia (Alabama?) is Busch Gardens Africa and is more of a safari/zoo than a roller coaster park.

I love roller coasters! The more ups, downs, and all-arounds, the happier I am.

Six Flags of Texas attempts a cultural theme, but they don't quite pull it off, lol.

I used to love up, down, all-around rollercoasters, but they all make me dizzy and sore now. :(

In any case, your day looks a lot more interesting than the one I'm about to post...

I sorry coasters no agree with you anymore :(

I did have a surprisingly enjoyable and productive day. But now I'm exhausted and can't go to bed until I finish this last load of laundry.

That reminds me I forgot all about my laundry. Oh well, I'll do it tomorrow.

Busch Gardens looks lots of fun, I like rides! Are you very near to it? Glad to see the Indy obesession is still going well (just wait till your LotR ones matches it;)) and if you fancy any more laundry, please say...

Busch Gardens is maybe, heavy emphasis on the maybe, 10 minutes from me. And about 3 minutes of that is spent driving around the gigantic parking spot to get to a space.

The Indy obsession is still very strong. I'm working on the ToD icons and would love to have them up by the end of the day tomorrow but we shall see. They are proving to be more difficult because the lighting is so dark for much of Temple.

I'm good on the laundry front, thanks. By the time the desire to do more strikes, I will almost certainly have more dirty clothes of my own.
