Currently I'm... Meme-ing!

Meme ganked from jdbracknell because it looked like fun and a convenient way to gripe and grumble a little bit.

Wearing: Jeans, white t-shirt with Donald Duck on it that says "ATTITUDE," hiking boots.

Hair: Dark blonde, mid-back, brushed straight down.

Makeup: None unless we want to count Cramex lip moisturizer as makeup.

Ate today: Blueberry muffin with butter; leftover pizza; tons of "crack" cookies (fat free English Toffee meringue cookies that are so addictive I swear that they must contain crack).

Thing last said: General grumbling with Mom and Dad about the idiot that hit Mom and I in Mom's car.

Last phone call: Sister in Disney World to make sure she got there alright and to tell her about the accident.

In your bag: Camera and assorted chargers, memory cards, etc; airline boarding passes for tomorrow; couple of books to read on flights tomorrow; a couple of legal pads; bubble gum; Star Wars stamps; program from the wedding; sunglasses; nail file; handheld computer; Tylenol

Last watched on tv: Assorted mysteries (Matlock, Murder She Wrote, etc.) with Mom while we were packing this morning. She loves those shows.

Plans for today: Finish packing for flight home tomorrow; spend time with parents and dogs before leaving tomorrow.

Last thing bought: Disposable camera to take photos of other guy's vehicle after he freakin' hit us.

Listening to: Hurricane – new single by my favorite comedy musical artist, Ray Stevens. Now available on iTunes!

Last showered: Last night.

Looking forward to: A really good night's sleep at some point this century; getting back to Williamsburg.

Worst part of the day: No brainer: the accident!

Best part of the day: Buying four boxes of "crack" cookies to pack to take back to Williamsburg since I can't find them out there.

Favorite person of the day: My Mom. She's just awesome overall.

Thinking about: How difficult it is to type with a dog half-lying on your arm with her head between you and the laptop screen and keyboard.

Current annoyance: Well, the accident strikes me as a bit more than an annoyance so I'll say Kasey randomly deciding this morning that he and Katrina would drive themselves to the airport, paying to leave their car there for 12 days and possibly have it broken into, rather than having one of us drive them when we are willing and available.

Current obsession: I'm not sure. The wedding was my big obsession the past couple weeks and now it is gone so I'm at a bit of a loss.

Random TMI: I'm not sure I have anything TMI to share. Let me think. Uh......... Nope. Nothing's coming.

Feeling: Very tired. I've worked very hard all week and couldn't sleep at all last night for some reason.

Hearing: Whatever Dad has on the TV in the living room (M.A.S.H. from the sounds of it); Mom in Katrina's room packing some stuff; my ceiling fan
Feeling: Tired
Exploring: Bedroom at the folks' house
Listening: Ray Stevens - Hurricane

I hope you're both all right after your car got hit :). Even if it's only a minor thing, they can leave you shaky, I find.

Those cookies sound great....

We're fine. Mom is a bit shook up. She keeps going over it in her head and telling Dad and I she did everything she could to avoid the accident. I was there and agree with her completely. Dad wasn't but keeps saying he is sure she did everything. I think she is trying to convince herself more than anything else.

I love these cookies. They have the meringue cookies in several flavors. I can get the Chocolate (blech) and the Vanilla (yummy) in Williamsburg but not the English Toffee (OMG! So so YUMMY!).

Oh, it's totally like that. Mr B and I were pulling out of a parking space once and got hit by some idiot not looking where he was going and driving too fast, but still we kept going over it. I think it's part of that whole adrenalin dump thing, to try and rationalise everything and assure yourself it wasn't your fault, and even if you know it wasn't, you can't quite let it go for a while. I hope she's all right :).

It has to be an adrenaline thing. I think she's fine now. We just had a nice quiet dinner.

Gracious. Every accident is upsetting and will shake you up. I'm so glad you're both okay. Is there much damage?

Not a ton of damage. His passenger rear tire got out front driver corner. His chrome hubcap has some scratching on it. Mom's car has some lights on that corner and the chrome surrouding those lights popped off and broke into pieces and there is a bit of body damage right there as well. When he hit us, we went up on the curb and that knocked my mom's alignment out of whack. The car steers a bit funny but is completely drivable. He didn't even see any damage on his car at first ( and therefore denied that the vehicles ever touched and said the pieces must have just randomly gone flying off our car). The police officers are the ones who showed him the damage on his own vehicle.

Bummer about the accident. At least everyone is ok and cars can be fixed.

I thought it was just cats who enjoyed getting in the way of working on computers! It's a good thing you don't own German Shepperds!

Have a safe flight back home tomorrow.

I think all pets must like getting between owners and computer screens. Well, maybe not fish. Perhaps I should get a fish. If I knew what one did with a fish other than feed it, that is.

I had a very nice flight home. I had to get up way too early (4:45) but made up for that by sleeping the entire way from Houston to Atlanta. I managed to stay awake on the Atlanta to Williamsburg leg of my flight and am now past ready to crash.
